Physics Club Mission
The mission of the Physics Club is to allow students to explore Physics and its applications such as engineering. The Physics Club members have the opportunity to prepare for and participate in the TSA TEAMS engineering and science competition at the 9-10th grade level and the 11-12th grade level. In preparation for the competition, the Physics Club students research and study the themes of each year such as engineering healthier lives, clean energy, etc. Presentations are made on these issues. In addition, Physics Club students participate in an engineering design competition within the club and they solve enriching physics problems.
Announcements
Congratulations!
Congratulations to our 2014-2015 Physics Club members!

The 11th-12th grade teams placed 2nd and 4th place in the state out of 34 teams at the

.
This year's topic was on
ENERGY & ITS RELATIONSHIP TO ENGINEERING. Students had to solve novel problems and use their own research on a range of topics on alternative and sustainable fuel sources.

.
April & May 2015
We will be engaging in a little engineering fun during our April and May meetings by designing, creating, testing, and refining mini 1-motor cars made from foam, blocks, masking tape, and other odds and ends. The goal is to have a sturdy car that is as fast and durable as possible.
